Writing Opportunities for the Oates Journal

We are constantly seeking scholarly articles, professional case studies and pragmatic articles, personal reflections, and reviews to consider for publication as part of the Oates Journal.

What We Seek to Publish:

The types of articles we are looking for include: discussion, research (qualitative and quantitative), descriptive, interview, case study, personal reflection, narrative, artistic, review, professional development, report, and bibliography. We seek to be the original publisher.

Topics we seek to address include: mind/body/spirit relationships, care giving rituals, end of life care and decision making, critical pathways, spiritual assessments, wellness programs, multicultural and interfaith issues, pastoral care in practice and theology, medical ethics, models for ministry and practice, and spirituality.

We invite you to review the Writer's Guidelines and then share your idea or manuscript with us for consideration.

The Oates Journal is an online journal addressing issues of faith and the process of healing from an interdisciplinary and interfaith perspective. It is designed for care giving and helping professionals. The Oates Journal is published by the Wayne E.
