SELF STUDY LEARNING MODULE

CEU Credit: 3.0 contact hours

Health ministries provide vital new ministry opportunities for congregations and communities. "Health ministries promote self-knowledge, personal responsibility, and interdependence among God's people," writes Dr. Maggie Miller. "In today's climate of uncertain availability of total health care, parish nurses and the church can play a significant role."

This is the second of a series of learning modules on developing health ministry approaches in the congregation. This Learning Module addresses the future of health care and the opportunities for congregational health ministries to promote health and speak to the issue of human dignity and health.
