We Give Thanks for One Another

From your friends at

The Oates Institute

Thanksgiving Day comes, by statute, once a year; to the honest man it comes as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow.

— Edward Sandford Martin

God does not intend that human intelligence be snuffed out by hunger, grinding poverty, and a squalid lack of care and discipline… once we have won the struggle to be free of poverty, God intends that we have a burning sense of social justice that is dedicated to enabling others in that same struggle.

— Wayne E Oates

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for members and friends of the Oates Institute and all you do as caregivers and friends of caregivers. We wish you a most joyous Thanksgiving, whether you celebrate that holiday or not.

Just a few reminders below as you plan over the next few days.

Annual Funding Campaign

We are starting our annual funding campaign, and invite you to join us. Our newsletter goes out to over 1500 people several times a year.  It provides information on our programs and original articles and resources for members and friends.

Doing this takes resources, and we cannot continue to do it with out your support. Please consider an annual gift at this time to help us to help others. Use the link on the gourds, or here.
