We all know the importance of debriefing our feelings and thoughts about stressful events. This process allows us to release emotions that we hold in check while ministering to those in spiritual crisis. Further, it provides an opportunity to share what kinds of things are being done in different settings. We invite persons whether members at the Oates Institute or not to participate. The conversation will be online through a Facebook group interaction. Please join us.
Dr. Wade Rowatt, Senior Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky and a contributor to the Oates Institute Caring Presence Program offers reflections on the ethical dimensions of caring during this pandemic. The article: Quelling Your Noisy Heart During the Cornovirus Storm is published in Ethics Daily.
Thank you all for your service. Pray God’s grace, mercy, peace, and love on each of you whether you join our discussion or not!
