Description

Mark Larocca, Board Certified Chaplain (BCC), Atlanta, Georgia.

A life, like any story, has a beginning and an end. Without the end point—the completion of the story arc—the fullness of meaning is never realized. Spirituality deals with issues related to finding meaning and purpose, yet spirituality rarely deals with death. Any legitimate spiritual path must deal with death, whether as physical death, death of the self, or as self-sacrifice. Coming to terms with one’s mortality and eventual death deeply enhances life and one’s spirituality. In this webinar we will examine spirituality and the role death has in one’s spiritual life. The “Death Café Movement,” which Mark founded, will provide one example.
