January 2016 Seminars Now Open for Registration

We have three seminars this January to pique your interest. Most begin on January 12, but may be shorter or longer as the subject matter dictates. Registration could not be easier. Members may just send an email to [email protected]. Non-members may pay for a one-time registration ($95) or purchase (for a limited time) the holiday membership at $145.

Go, Stop: Go! A Powerful New Approach for Overcoming Quitters and Accomplishing Your Goals. Oates Institute’s Executive Director, Rick Underwood, will lead this six-week seminar. Go, Stop: Go! is a relatively new seminar that was developed just last year. It begins on January 12, and participants will be encouraged to join Rick in exploring his book, and developing their own plan for achieving their goals. Read more..

Hope as a Dynamic for Healing. What role does the dynamic of hope play in one’s healing and overall health and well-being? This question continues to take on more meaning as health care approaches become more integrated and holistic. Read more.

Book Study on The Angry Christian by Andy Lester Lisa Wood will lead this study of Andy Lester’s book, The Angry Christian. This is a new study and more information will be posted at oates.org as it becomes available.

Also coming up later, January 27, 7:00-8:30 pm (EDT), we will have an evening presentation on Christianity and Islam with Margaret Gray Henry. Look for more information shortly in a Lifelong Learning.
